Description
Description of problem¶
Silenced alerts still raise a pop-up (the resolved popup in green color).
Environment¶
ceph version
string: ceph version 16.2.6 (ee28fb57e47e9f88813e24bbf4c14496ca299d31) pacific (stable)- Platform (OS/distro/release): Ubuntu 20.04
How reproducible¶
Steps:
- Create an alert that'll always fire
- Silence (e.g. in Ceph Dashboard)
- Watch Ceph-Dashboard
Actual results¶
See attached screenshot. The green "resolved" pop-up ist still shown, even if the alarm is silenced.

This was meant to be fixed by 16.2.6 (https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/52473 and https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/42974), but perhaps only the initial notification (when the alerting condition happens) and not when it disappears (as it looks like based on the screenshot).
