Description
Don't know the exact cause, but I was running clustered mds tests using snaptest-2.sh and once the MDSes had failed and been restarted the client didn't make any progress. I gdb attached to try to figure out was wrong and found nothing, but upon quitting gdb the client started making progress again.
Presumably there's a wait cond somewhere that needs to get signalled and isn't.

This might be the same issue as #535 (which looks to me like it's waiting on tcp_read/poll?).
