Description

From irc, someone points out that qemu-img convert can't create anything but format 1 images. We should update the block driver to allow manipulation of the newer image types.

I'm running into this as well.

Wouldn't it be a start to at least start creating image with rbd_create2|3 instead of just rbd_create? That way new images are at least format 2.
