Description

Description of problem

If you stop the target clusters rbd-mirror daemons, the local clusters UI will show the pool as ERROR - but the CLI will show this state as ERROR. This inconsistent view of state is confusing, and should align if possible

Environment

  • ceph version string: 16.x
  • Platform (OS/distro/release): Linux/RHEL8
  • Cluster details (nodes, monitors, OSDs): 2 clusters, 2 nodes each, 2 rbd-mirror daemons per cluster, cephadm controlled
  • Browser used (e.g.: Version 86.0.4240.198 (Official Build) (64-bit)): firefox
