As a exploratory work it could be interesting to add an automated spell checker, like sphinxcontrib-spelling. It could help to quickly identify typos, mistakes and other trivial (and perhaps non-trivial) spelling errors.

This could be excluded from Read the Docs and left just for the build-doc process.
