The issue got introduced by the commit https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/32319/commits/a44de38b61d598fb0512ea48da0de4179d39b804 which is not back ported to octopus branch. So the issue doesn't exist in octopus branch.

Should we back port the above mentioned commit to octopus ?
