Bug #4614
closedRoot cephfs does not mount at boot on Ubuntu 12.04
0%
Description
This line does not produce a mount at boot
192.168.21.11:6789,192.168.21.13:6789,192.168.21.12:6789:/ /mnt/ceph ceph name=gw1,secretfile=/etc/ceph/keyring,noatime 0 2
You have to specify an existant subdirectory to mount cephfs at boot time on Ubuntu 12.04

Can you try putting 'netdev' as an option in fstab? That will make it mount after networking has started.

Yes Sage,
I've tried with no success.
I've wrote to mailing list too and Igor Laskovy has confirmed the issue.

Is this still an issue? We have not been able to replicate. my fstab line looks like:
10.214.133.104:6789,10.214.133.134:6789,10.214.133.114:6789:/ /ceph ceph name=admin,secret=redacted 0 0
and works every time. 12.04, static ip in /etc/network/interfaces

Howdy. I do not know. :) It has been over a year and I moved on long ago.
