Description

That has been done as a part of the DR/georeplication development. We can make this specific feature available earlier.

Currently it is not possible to configure more than a single set of pools to be used on a single ceph cluster. That means that if users want to create completely different tenants, they can't do it. The zone params configuration enables that.
Note that this doesn't provide any way to configure regions and zones relationship. It's just for configuring the lower level ceph cluster pools params info.

I am having major deja-vu here as I think we may have discussed this elsewhere, but this feature is to allow multiple pools to be configured at one (which is equivalent to grouping them into a zone and configuring the pools via a zone policy)?
Is that correct?

As an admin, i can configure which pools RGW will use to use as part of a zone via the rados-gateway itself.
