Description

cephadm adopt for OSDs relies on the OSD actually being up and running (it checks /var/lib/ceph/osd/ceph-$ID/{fsid,type}, and also moves files from that directory to /var/lig/ceph/$FSID/osd.$ID). This means if your OSDs are down for any reason, they can't be adopted.
