PR#30615 introduced the ability to display the remaining time for ongoing events in the output of ceph -s:

progress:
    Rebalancing after osd.5 marked in (since 00h 01m 16s)
      [====........................] (time remaining: 00h 06m 00s)
    Rebalancing after osd.4 marked in (since 00h 02m 16s)
      [===.........................] (time remaining: 00h 16m 27s)
    Rebalancing after osd.3 marked in (since 00h 03m 03s)
      [===========.................] (time remaining: 00h 04m 15s)

This info should also be displayed in the progress notification bar of the Dashboard, to help admins to get a better understanding of when an ongoing task is expected to be finished.
