This github commit emails suck.. almost no information and not very useful. In contrast, the git ones are pretty awesome. They show force pushes, inline diffs, and other good stuff. We could just set those up on the ceph.com mirrors, assuming one of the hooks is an approrpaite place given that we are always doing a git fetch and not pushing directly to that repo.
