Description

Having created a thick-provision image which size is smaller than the max_bytes of pool, it could be expanded to a size exceeding the max_bytes of pool;Assuming that the initial size of a image equals to the the max_bytes of pool,it couldn't be expanded to a greater size.

Note that "rbd resize" is not thick-provisioning the image. Also, Ceph quotas are not instantly enforced -- it takes time for the stats to collect.
