Description

It isn't clear that Xstudio actually supports this as-is. My current plan is to manipulate the SQL database directly.

The belief is that X-studio provides a reasonable framework for inventorying tests and archiving (for report) the results of their runs. Many of our tests will be run independently from X-studio (e.g. under Teuthology). We need a way of getting run/pass/fail information out of the teuthology runs and into the X-studio database.

Results for each run are neatly summarized in a summary.yaml file in the archive dir. I suspect we just need a simple scraper that will slurp these into the xstudio database.

Incidentally, we also want to scrape timing information from the summary.yaml and shove it in a database for chart.io (see #3932); probably the same tool (teuthology-scrape?) could do the same.

This is a possible partial implementation of what 4990 is trying to accomplish

I am closing this as a detail of the implementation of 4990. I will update 4990.
