Description

Right now, the EMetaBlob sub-structures — for performance reasons — use an encoding pattern that doesn't match anything else, and it makes them a little difficult to work with when changing encodings and such.
Work out if this actually matters for performance, and if it does, come up with a plan to make them both perform and be nicely maintainable.
