Description

The java tests now require a newer version of JUnit than ships with Ubuntu 12.04. We should rewrite the code to use the older version so that installing on Ubuntu does not require a user go round up the newer .jar file themselves.

It turns out that the current shipping version of Junit4 on Ubuntu and Debian will support our tests, as is. No code changes are necessary for this issue.
