Description

http://ceph.com/docs/master/install/hardware-recommendations/ has entries like "2-1GB Ethernet NICs" and "1-500GB drive". Those look like ranges, "1 to 500GB". Especially when the numbers happen to be in increasing order.

How about:
- "2x 1GB Ethernet NIC"
- having a separate column for unit count
- "2* 1GB Ethernet NIC"
- "2pcs 1GB Ethernet NIC"

I personally think the first option has best readability, and typically isn't confusing (as long as we don't talk about having 2 PCIe slots of width 8.. "2x 8x PCIe".. and even that can be handled by reordering the words, "2x PCIe 8x"). And a separate column is my next best idea.
