I want to work on this issue. I'm new to Ceph, so want to use this feature to get to know Ceph better.

Will someone be able to elaborate more on this feature so that I can start working on it right away.

Hi Onkar, this issue is deceptively complex and not at all beginner friendly. If you want to get started with CephFS development, I suggest looking through the issues labeled "task(easy)" or "task(intern)".
