Description

Hello,

I'm trying to install a Ceph Storage Cluster (Luminous v12.2.5) on Debian 8.10, I want to add 3 OSDs on my cluster and each time I use the following command : "ceph-deploy --username admceph osd create --data /dev/sdb osd1-node" it works correctly but when I check the OSD status, they randomly appears down.

I've tried to reinstall it many time but I always get the same error in my OSD log when I try to start the OSD service : " Failed to start Ceph Object Storage daemon osd"

Thank you in advance for your help !

Sorry this ticket didn't get a response sooner -- to get help with setting up Ceph, the ceph-users mailing list is a good place to ask.

There isn't an indication here of an actual bug (can't tell why your OSDs are flapping, but it is likely to be an environmental issue), so I'm going to close this.
