Description

I expect others to improve this, but this is just to capture the ideas.
It is probably more of a white paper than an FAQ, but an FAQ discussion is needed.

(1) enumerate the reliability features we have
(and discuss near-term plans for enhancements)

(2) enumerate the reliability tests that we regularly run
(reference test reports, discuss near-term plans for enhancements)

(3) briefly overview what makes this an HA architecture

(4) enumerate the availability (fail-over and recovery) tests we regularly run
(reference test reports, discuss near-term plans for enhancements)

(5) assemble real data from in-service systems

  • Status changed from New to Closed

This bug has been judged too old to fix. This is because either it is either 1) raised against a version of Ceph prior to Luminous, or 2) just really old, and untouched for so long that it is unlikely nowadays to represent a live documentation concern.

If you think that the closing of this bug is an error, raise another bug of a similar kind. If you think that the matter requires urgent attention, please let Zac Dover know at .
