An bug fixed upstream caused ‘radosgw-admin bucket check –fix’ to delete indices for valid objects as well as invalid objects. To test for this:

1. cat a /var/log/*/* file that was big with itself repeatedly until you get a 16G text file named bigstuff.

2. create a bucket with 1000 objects in it.

3. perform a multisite save of bigstuff but terminate before finishing.

4. run radosgw-admin bucket check --fix --bucket=foo

5. make sure bigstuff is the only object that is gone.
