Description

There were some mystery failures, where we've seen rgw getting requests from apache, processing them, sending responses to apache, but apache either don't receive anything, or receives bad data:

[Wed Feb 01 11:13:24 2012] [error] [client 2607:f298:4:3143::5748] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/var/www/dummyradosgw.fcgi"
[Wed Feb 01 11:13:25 2012] [error] [client 2607:f298:4:3143::5748] FastCGI: comm with server "/var/www/dummyradosgw.fcgi" aborted: idle timeout (30 sec)

It happened when there were lots of hanging requests on rgw, so might be related to some resource exhaustion.

do we think this is fixed now by the rgw throttling?

Not completely unlikely. We can set it to "can't reproduce", and reopen if we see it again.
