Description

RADOSGW of Ceph v10.2.2 relies on FCGI, but the upstream source for this no longer actually exists.

Confirmed, the latest fcgi upstream URLs are completely gone.

http://fastcgi.com/dist/fcgi-2.4.0.tar.gz is that last URL where the tarball was available, and it is currently a 404. http://www.fastcgi.com/ is a placeholder page, nothing to do with the libfcgi project.

From what Matt's told me, the RGW team intends to remove libfcgi entirely from Ceph before the Luminous release.

After talking today with Matt Benjamin, it's not clear whether we want to completely take out fcgi for the Luminous release -- we will confirm at the next RGW meeting; some people may want it to stay in.

However, it sounds like turning fcgi off as a default should be easy and shouldn't present a problem.
