Description
After https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/8357 the osd reads from the config option 'crush location', whereas the previous crush location hook was reading from 'osd crush location' as well. As such, restarting and osd from jewel to master (and having only ceph.conf with 'osd crush location') moves every host in the crush tree.
Also, the previous fallback location was the short hostname (host=$(hostname -s) root=default). Now it's the fqdn hostname. Is that intentional? I would vote to stay consistent with the past.
