Description

MDCache::populate_mydir() already does some of this; we also need to it load each frag and set the STICKY flag on them, then clean it up in MDCache::shutdown_pass().

This will let us revert commit:d3d767a2a36caefdeb8a94abba1673cf8304c793, which is good because that:
1) gets rid of an ugly workaround,
2) lets us exercise the recursive stats code better (since the stray dirs are very active).
