Description
When analyzing a job failure, it is helpful to
- look for a past successful run of the same job
- git log what happened between the sha1 of the successful job in ceph and the sha1 of the failed job
- git log what happened between the date of the successful job in the ceph-qa-suite suite_branch and the date of the failed job
Using dates to list the changes in ceph-qa-suite is imprecise and to be sure nothing is missed, the date of the previous date for the successful job and the date of the next day for the failed job are recommended.
It would be easier if the config.yaml file mentionned the sha1 of the ceph-qa-suite that was used.
