Description

Hi,

I have seen occasions where the "pushed into bg"-call for 'ceph-create-keys' within the shipped initscript does not work - at all. What I see is either defunct ceph processes (if I am fast on the console) or if I try to dig deeper (i.e. wrap the popen calls in 'wait_for_quorum' with a try/except block) things like:

INFO:ceph-create-keys:unexpected error: [Errno 11] Resource temporarily unavailable

Anyway - this currently leads to rendering the official ansible modules unusable in their state, since the wait_for (the client.admin.key) will never return. I used a simple fix to get around this, but had the notion to let upstream know! :-)

regards,
pari
