5 | Currently, the "QEMU":http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rbd/qemu-rbd/ hypervisor can interact with the Ceph "block device":http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rbd/. The KVM "module":http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rbd/rbd-ko/ and the librbd library allow you to use QEMU with Ceph. Most Ceph deployments use the librbd library. Cloud solutions like "OpenStack":http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rbd/rbd-openstack/ and "CloudStack":http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rbd/rbd-cloudstack/ interact "libvirt":http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rbd/libvirt/ and QEMU to as a means of integrating with Ceph. |

7 | Ceph integrates cloud solutions via %{color:grey}libvirt% and QEMU. The Ceph community has also added support for the Xen hypervisor as of the Emperor release. |

9 | There is interest in support for VMWare, but there is no deep-level integration between VMWare and Ceph as yet. |
