Feature #13578

Updated by Kefu Chai over 8 years ago

it can warn the user

 # if monitor and osd nodes are co-located
 # if /var is not a separated partition
 # if monitors are not deployed in different failure domain
 # if the OSDs are not deployed in different failure domain, see

   * https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-ceph-storage/version-1.3/red-hat-ceph-storage-13-installation-guide-for-rhel-x86-64/#create-crush-hierarchy
   * http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rados/operations/crush-map/
 # make sure the /var of monitor or the OSD data partition is not part of any SAN
 # if user hosts more than 6 journals per SSD (we suggest a maximum of 6)

 this script would help the devops/support guys to avoid some obvious mistakes when deploying a ceph cluster.
