While we're at it, beefing up the rgw support in vstart.sh would be great. right now you can pass RGW=1 and it will spin up an rgw and apache, but anything else we can do to automatically create a useful dev environment would be great.

I have edited vstart.sh so that it can setup rgw automatically. I have also documented most of the steps needed by new developers. I will be submitting this change in the next few days after more tests.

I saw the new -r switch in vstart (and am using it currently, though I'm still not sure of certain things). Do you have a WIP branch somewhere that I can refer to
