Description

We're trying to ditch the address-based messenger interfaces throughout our codebase. We're trying harder now that we're looking at alternative messenger implementations.

See wip-msgr while doing this; we should be able to use the Messenger Connection-based interfaces on master and then trivially swap them out for Connection-rooted functions.
