Looks like the ABI bumped for 2.x:

The Ubuntu Cloud Archive has backports of these versions for 12.04.

Any chance you can pull in the newer version to the Inktank Ceph
repositories? then the ABI versions will match and everything will
work again and ceph will start to depend on the 4 version.
