Description

Occasionally, an OSD bench with default values will cause a crash of the process for that OSD. This crash can be reliably reproduced with the following syntax:

ceph tell osd.0 bench 16106127360 4096

( After this test, bug #6795 was found and determined that the second parameter was ignored. )

Attached are OSD and ceph logs with OSD set to 'debug osd = 20' and 'debug ms = 20' during the run of the above bench syntax.

The desired result is that the OSD process is not saturated and/or crashed during the osd bench.
