Description

Requirement:

Hardware Identified for ESXi OS Installation - ESXi OS 7.0 u3 Installed on both ESXi server.
argo010.ceph.redhat.com / 10.8.128.210
argo029.ceph.redhat.com / 10.8.128.229
argo030.ceph.redhat.com / 10.8.128.230

1. Need to enable Multiple NIC cards for argo029.ceph.redhat.com / 10.8.128.229 ESXi Server.
Right now 1gb and 10gb uplink are visible and enabled for argo029, need one more 10gb uplink for NVMe traffic
Vmnic0 - UP for Management n/w - To access the ESXi server and Monitoring Purpose.( 1gb uplink bandwidth )
Vmnic1 - UP and vmnic2 - Not configured for NVMe traffic flow ( 10gb uplink bandwidth )

2. Need to enable Multiple NIC cards  for argo010.ceph.redhat.com / 10.8.128.210 ESXi Server.

Please instal ESXi 7.0 u3 on argo030.ceph.redhat.com ( current OS is ESXi 8.0 which we don’t want for certification)

4. Please enable DHCP for vmnic0, vmnic1 and vmnic2 NIC cards. Reserve a subnet of 0/24 (256 IP’s) for vm creation.

Hey Krishna, we can't enable dhcp on the management vlan(vmnic0), we can enable dhcp on an isolated network that we can create with separate a vSwitch on the 10G uplinks
Another thing we need to think about is if we need a distributed switch for that 10G isolated network it will require purchasing a VMware vSphere license

Tala015 - 017 are now installed with esxi7U3 each has two 10G active nics
