Description

Description of problem

In the dashboard under "Cluster Status", I have several warnings like:

OSD_BACKFILLFULL: 1 backfillfull osd(s)
OSD_NEARFULL: 3 nearfull osd(s)

In the "OSDs" panel, I have notices like:
103 total
103 up, 95 in
8 out
3 near full

In this "OSDs" panel, I would expect to see an alert for "1 backfill". Backfill is more severe error than "near full".

Environment

  • ceph version string: ceph version 17.2.6 (d7ff0d10654d2280e08f1ab989c7cdf3064446a5) quincy (stable)
  • Platform (OS/distro/release): debian 11
  • Cluster details (nodes, monitors, OSDs): n/a
  • Did it happen on a stable environment or after a migration/upgrade?: n/a
  • Browser used (e.g.: Version 86.0.4240.198 (Official Build) (64-bit)): n/a

How reproducible

Steps:

  1. over-fill an OSD to get a backfill error
  2. notice that the alert is missing in the "OSDs" panel

Sorry, typo, I meant the "OSD" panel should show "1 backfillfull".
