The failed run did not include the changes in https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/24651 (master). This pull request might fix the problem. I discovered a race in this test which adding a flush_pg_stats call fixed. I don't recall if this was the exact symptom, though.

We could proceed like this is a tracker for the problems. Add a "Fixes:" to the commit message and merge to master and back port where appropriate.
