Description
Although `auto` will be able to consume a list of devices as input, it should be allowed to finely tune what the end result will be given specific input. Configuration
management systems like ceph-ansible will allow more esoteric use cases that ceph-volume needs to accommodate for.
A spec needs to be defined, and should be discussed upfront with the ceph-ansible team. The initial idea is to allow JSON as input, so that complicated setups can
be easier to understand.

Iiuc this concerns the batch subcommand? If so can this be closed, as we have the option to explicitly pass disks for certain purposes (wal/db and journal)?
