Description

1. Due to this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/curl/+bug/1754686
2. https://download.ceph.com/debian-luminous/dists/ does not contains Bionic folder.
3. Yes, I know that Ubuntu 18.04 is not listed here: http://docs.ceph.com/docs/luminous/start/os-recommendations/
but I think, that any currently active LTS Ceph release should support current LTS OS it intended for. Especially those OS, that have "B, I, C" in "Testing" column in referenced table.

History

As far as I know, this isn't a bug -- luminous packages simply aren't built for Bionic. LTS releases of Ceph get bug fixes, but they don't generally get ported to newly released platforms.

I believe we'll be adding bionic for future luminous point releases.

Bionic is LTS for a while now. Seems that there is a bionic folder on /dists on repo now but no packages yet.

Any news on that?

Sage, are you going to build package luminous for bionic?
