Description

Hi,

currently we are gambling a little with luminous release for ubuntu trusty, we want to work out a valid migration path from jewel to luminous release, our cluster uses old filestores (XFS OSDs with and without external journal disks).

But we are faced with a bug on line 275 on file /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/ceph_volume/api/lvm.py which prevents us from creating of file and blue -stores.

Because lvcreate under ubuntu trusty doesn't know about the parameter --yes , currently we patched this by comment it out.

Trusty is not supported with ceph-volume because Trusty doesn't have systemd and ceph-volume depends on it. You might be able to create an OSD but it will not start
