Description

we could run into few issues with jewel+ bulids on ext4 file system unless we have set the right config to avoid long names,
It will be nice default to xfs as root fs for cobbler and vm images.

Can you elaborate on the issues? I personally don't have an issue with this but some evidence on issues encountered would be nice so we can get developer feedback on whether the change makes sense for one or both labs.

I think the os dir shouldn't matter much, we do get coverage for different fs from the raw devices which is more accurate. but yeah it should go through review from dev and see what they have to say.
