Same problem here on ceph 9.2.1 while VM is using the RBD image. It would be nice if it is possible to live rebuild the object map

Due to the upgrade to infernalis it would be fine to get the ability for live enabling the object map. Jonas +1

This issue is resolved in Jewel and we have stress-test IO cases to verify it properly functions. Infernalis is effectively EOL so moving to resolved state.
