I don't think we want to add this to the rados command line tool. If anything, we'd want a separate tool?

A separate tool would involve a large duplication of code while the changes were quite minimal in this pull request. Or we should reorganize the whole code of the rados command line tool to be reusable for the radosstriper one.
How do you see this ?

I think we need this to be in the rados CLI tool. The rationale is that most rados interactions for debugging or just digging around are done using that.
It would be most convenient to be able to specify an option to deal with striped stuff rather than getting spam, while maintaining the ability to dig in to specific stripes etc.

Any decision on this ?
Should I work on a separate tool ? Should I reorganize the code to put the reusable part in common ?
